Alex Cirillo is an accomplished Director of Photography, camera operator, assistant, and certified drone pilot based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s in Media Communication, he began his career as a production assistant on major Chicago‑based film sets such as Divergent,
Transformers: Age of Extinction, and Suicide Squad.
With credits spanning narrative and documentary formats, Alex has served as first assistant camera on the TV special Drew Michael: Red Blue Green (2021) and worked as a digital imaging technician for four episodes of The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek imdb.com. Additionally, he’s appeared on camera in roles on shows like Chicago P.D., Mind Games, and Crisis .
